What’s not included in your EKOKIT package
The following items are not included in your EKOKIT package, although you may purchase a number of specially selected and recommended products at discounted EKOKIT rates using the voucher book which you will receive when you purchase an EKOKIT.
Pre-construction and external work
- Building consent fees, resource consent preparation or application fees, surveying, geotechnical or any other engineering, inspection or specialist consultants’ fees
- Work or costs relating to earthworks and/or site preparation, laying of trenches, connection of services and/or temporary power and water supplies
- Construction works or public liability insurances from the day the container has been delivered to your site and you have signed acceptance of receipt
- Paths, patios, decks, landscaping or accessories (e.g., letter box, washing line)
Construction costs
- Labour of any sort
- Foundation construction, materials and substructure insulation as specified in the building consent
- Connections, straps and fixings between EKOKIT components and the foundations, slab or other elements of the substructure as specified in the building consent
- Nails, screws and glues
- Tools, plant, scaffolding and machinery
- Removal of waste from site
Fitout and finishing costs
- Plumbing and piping including downpipes and hot water cylinder installation fittings
- Electrical wiring and fittings (e.g., power points, light switches and light fittings)
- Floor coverings, gib stopping, paint, painting, tiles, tiling or other decorating materials or labour
- Bathroom accessories (e.g., mirrors, towel rails, toilet roll holders), wardrobe fittings (e.g., shelving and rails) or furnishings (e.g., furniture, blinds, curtains, rugs) other than specified appliances
Additional systems and technologies
- Solar hot water system and any associated components
- Heating appliances or systems
- Purchase or installation of products using the EKOKIT voucher system
